Massaman Curried Sausages with Mash
Ingredients

sausage (thick)

1 tbsp
oil
|

onion (sliced thinly)

410 g
Valcom thai massaman curry sce
|
|
0.5 cup
chicken stock
|
|
400 g
peas (mash to serve)
|
|
green beans (steamed to serve)
|
|
mashed potato (to serve)
|
Preparation

1.
| Blanch sausages in simmering water for 2 mins. Remove pot from heat and allow sausages to rest in the water for 5 mins. Drain well. |

| Slice sausages into thick slices diagonally. |

| Heat oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat and brown onions and sausages well for 5 – 6 mins. |

4.
| Pour over the Valcom Massaman Curry and chicken stock, bring to the boil stirring. Reduce heat add the chick peas, cover and simmer stirring occasionally for 20 minutes. |

5.
| Serve hot with creamy mashed potato and steamed green beans. |
